1. The inside of rotary joint drum and pipe shall be kept clean. Special attention should be paid to new equipment, and filters should be added when necessary to avoid abnormal wear of rotating joint caused by foreign matters.

2. If the machine is not used for a long time, it will cause scaling and rust inside the rotary joint. Please note that it will be stuck or dripping when it is reused.

3. If it is equipped with oil filling device, please fill oil regularly to ensure the reliability of rotary joint bearing operation.

4. The rotating joint of fluid medium should be heated gradually to avoid sudden temperature change.

5. Check the wear condition and thickness change of the sealing surface (generally normal wear is 5-10 mm); observe the friction track of the sealing surface to see if there are three intermittent points or scratches and other problems. If there is any upper condition, it should be replaced immediately.

6. The rotary joint shall be handled with care and shall not be impacted to avoid loss of joint components.

7. It is strictly forbidden for foreign matters to enter into the rotary joint.

8. Do not idle the swivel for a long time.

Reason 1: the concentricity of the hollow shaft and the rotating body is not enough. Countermeasures: check the size and accuracy, adjust the fixed connection with the rotating body.

The second reason is that the assembly machine has low accuracy (heavy straightness of end face, large radial and axial clearance) and large vibration. Countermeasures: find out the cause and repair the equipment.

Reason 3: foreign matters such as slurry and dirt enter the contact surface of friction pair. Disposal Countermeasures: add filter or decontaminator, transform the type of rotary joint.

Reason 4: the use of pressure, temperature, speed, etc. is beyond the scope of the optional rotary joint. Countermeasures: study the operating conditions, ask the research unit or manufacturer, and change the type of rotary joint.
